This short briefing was written by a client:

target-audience
Yogalexa is the new yoga-lifestyle-brand of yogateacher Alexa Bosse. The launch of Yogalexa is planned first in Germany (step 1) and later whole Europe (step 2). In the focus of all communication is the new website yogalexa.com. First it starts with a blog and youtube-channel, later the brand will offer products such as yoga-clothes, yoga-props, yoga-holidays, yoga-dvds...
Target group:
Mainly women between 16 and 75 but men are not excluded. Yogalexa tries to reach not only the yogafanatics but everybody who looks for a more balanced lifestyle and more peace of mind and happiness and satisfaction in his daily life. Yogalexa shows people how to integrate yoga as a way of life through small changes in your own habits which can make a great difference in your overall attitude and wellbeing.
Description
Use
The logo will serve as trademarks and sender of all planned communication activities and is also used both online and offline. This means that the logo must be suitable for the website, as well as for videos, flyers, business cards, stationery and as fashion label. Formats
The logo should be delivered as jpeg and vector file (eps).
Colourfulness
The color is open. However, the above-mentioned types of use should be considered in the conception and design of the logo. In addition, the logo should be both extremely increased as can be reduced and also a black and white conversion (eg faxes and labels for clothing) should be considered.
The design
Yoga stands for physical and mental balance, for peace of mind. The logo should state this and be fresh and light. In addition, the logo should naturally have a high recognition value and be at the same time unique. The logo should exude a certain value and not act "cheap" - Yogalexa will settle in the upper middle - neither discount brand but still not a premium brand. Preferred is a word / figurative mark, where the logo should work, if necessary, with or without the word "Yogalexa".
Please additionally provide 6 versions with the above slogans.
Possible design approaches
As a design element, a sun could be used. The sun is often associated with Yoga and could be the "charisma" of the brand represent. A radiant heart is also possible, according to the motto "follow your heart".

It is also conceivable to provide the Logo Yogalexa with an added subline "by Alexa Bosse" to give more personality to the brand from the outset.
