This short briefing was written by a client:

target-audience
With my monkeytower internet agency, I, Olaf Klein, as a trained radio and television technician (father Database Programmer, Mother Yoga teacher, 1 son: IT Guru)offer IT Service since 1996 (self-employed).

In 2001 I bought my former Internet provider. It was founded in the 'Internet bubble' in year 2000 as a company with about 40 customers. I had some Web projects there. When the company was about to get closed I had the chance to take it over completely. Today monkeytower cares about 270 domains, approximately 150 sites.

With Byteloader Inc. I want to 'outsource' the Internet Hosting and offer webhosting internationally. (I speak fluent English and I'm also several times a year in Costa Rica, where I run a travel agency with a girlfriend.)
The name ByteLoader is borrowed from the homonymous Perl function (http://search.cpan.org/~rurban/BC-1.52/ByteLoader/ByteLoader.pm).

Byteloader Webhosting offers solutions with a focus on marketing-oriented websites (content easy to maintain, fast loading times). Customers come from Germany, United States and Costa Rica (Spanish). We work in the field of web design almost exclusively with Thrive Themes (http://thrivethemes.com) products. The logo should be used on a WHMCS platform (website for selling domains and hosting) (http://demo.whmcs.com/).

In addition to hosting and webdesign in we may offer video trainings (screencasts) for (mostly) IT subjects in the near future.

This is my first project on Designenlassen.de. A customer had a good experience here and recommend the platform. Ultimately the review at eisy (http://www.eisy.eu/erfahrungen-mit-designenlassen-de/) convinced to try it here.

I look forward to your suggestions. Thanks in advance. (translated mostly with Google)
Description
The logo is to be used mainly in the "Web 2.0" range.

I Like sqarish logos, or 4:3 aspect ratio. A squarish part should look good (recognisable) in Avatar size, and also when used with round Vignette like on Google+. One or two colors are enough IMHO.

[UPDATE]
eventually you can use the arches from the logo of monkey tower (www.monkeytower.net, see attached file) to use for a "B", similarly here: https://99designs.de/readymade/logos/1209, only in reverse.

The monkey tower logo is based on a city of Essen Logo (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essen#/media/File:Europa-Schulen-Essen.svg). The arches should represent the technology-floors of the radio-tower and replace icon of the Essen Grugahalle landmark (since that hall got privatised). My idea was then to use the arches for the m of monkey tower. But then I liked the designer's idea better...

The film about the Bell logo (re) design impressed me:
